<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Every business manages expenses differently, so we&#8217;re excited to announce greater flexibility when it comes to setting up your own expense approval process in Employment Hero. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can now customize your approval processes by adding “location” and “cost center” fields to expense workflows. For example, you can add an additional approval requirement for large expenses or a rule that automatically approves all expenses recorded by your CEO. Additionally, you can customize approval processes based on employee cost center, location, or even team. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">These enhancements make it easier to align workflows with your organizational structure and help improve operational efficiency. </span></p>

This visual format improves tracking by providing clear information on how vacancies are structured, helping you make informed workforce planning decisions. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can also easily add and pre-populate details such as team, entity, job type, dates and pay scale when creating vacancies. These enhancements streamline integration, improve workforce planning, and provide advanced reporting filtering.</span></p>

<h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">We&#8217;ve made some changes to the pay rate models in Jobs Hero&#8217;s HR and Payroll platforms.</span></h2>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We&#8217;ve made some changes to the way your organization manages pay rates and salaries, and we think you&#8217;ll love them. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Previously, Pay Rate Models (PRTs) were not available in HR, meaning those using this feature had to make updates in Employment Hero HR and Payroll to ensure any new salaries were reflected on both platforms.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">From now on, PRTs will be accessible in HR. If your organization uses PRTs in Payroll, you should now have the ability to assign them directly to HR employees.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Important points to note:</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You do not need to migrate existing PRTs, this was done for you during migration.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you already manage salaries in HR but do not use PRT, this update will not impact your current process.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Forward salaries will default to “manually set rates” after migration. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you use PRTs, these will now flow from HR to Payroll, simplifying the process and reducing manual work.</span></li>
</ul>
<h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">We added a new 52-week average import</span></h2>
<p><b>Available on the following packages: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">All Payroll Plans</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Users can now import 52-week average paid time off data into the payroll platform. This can be done through the Data Extracts screen, where administrators can download a spreadsheet template. Next, the user needs to enter the employee details such as their ID, name, start date of the imported week, number of hours worked this week and hourly rate. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The first pay cycle must have been opened to import the data. Week start dates must precede first pay cycle dates and cannot contain first pay cycle dates. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">To use this new feature, select an open pay cycle, download the template, import the data, review your pay cycles and export the results. </span></p>

Our team has been working hard behind the scenes and we have a ton of exciting new updates to share with you. So, what&#8217;s new in November? </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We&#8217;ve added enhanced security settings with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Single Sign-On (SSO), improved our performance review module, added additional features to the list, made our workflow functionality work more powerful and that&#8217;s just the beginning. Everything is there and ready to use on the platform – let’s get started.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">Improved single sign-on (SSO) login experience</span></h2>
<p><b>Available for the following HR plan: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">Platinum</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We&#8217;re excited to announce that we&#8217;ve improved security when logging into Employment Hero to give you an even safer experience. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Organizations with SSO enabled can log in to Employment Hero with just one click via the</span><b>    “My apps”</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">    Dashboard on Okta, Microsoft Office Apps and Google Workspace Apps. This connection option can be enabled via IDP configuration.</span></p>

<h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can now add backup approver options in Employment Hero</span></h2>
<p><b>Available on the following packages:</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">    Classic: Platinum, new generation</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Administrators now have flexible backup approver choices, including options such as Administrator, Team Leader, Primary/Secondary Manager, and Specific Teams, in the Leave, Expenses, and Edit Employee Records modules. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We&#8217;ve also added notifications to alert admins if an approver is terminated, improving the speed and experience of approvals for your team.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">We&#8217;ve added two-factor authentication (2FA) for payroll users and additional security measures</span></h2>
<p><b>Available for the following packages:</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">    Payroll only, Swag users </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We&#8217;ve added an extra layer of security for payroll in the Swag app to give you an even more secure experience with Employment Hero and Swag. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by asking for both your password and a code sent to your phone. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Payroll-only users can now enable, disable, and configure 2FA directly in the Swag app.</span></p>
<p><b>Note</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">: This update is reserved for users with access to payroll only. If you have used the WorkZone app before, you can follow the tips in this article. If you have used the Employment Hero app before, follow the instructions </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">instructions in the article here.</span></p>

<h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can now choose how often you want to receive application notifications. </span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We know you&#8217;re busy and the last thing you want is a flooded inbox. That&#8217;s why we now give you the option to choose how often you want to receive notifications about new apps. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can now choose to receive daily or weekly application summaries instead of individual notifications for each new applicant.</span></p>
<p><b>Please note</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">: By default, Applicant Reporting will be enabled at the organizational level (email notification settings) and disabled at the individual level (notification settings).</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You asked, we listened! Previously, admins could only assign performance reviews to teams or individual employees, but we know you wanted more functionality and flexibility to add additional fields. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Now, when an admin creates or edits a rating period, they will have the option to assign the rating based on the locations and entities using it.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In Employment Hero, you can now use Workflows as your primary expense approval system, simplifying the entire process. Approvers also now have custom permissions for better privacy, while administrators maintain control for secure and consistent management of all approvals.</span></p>

<p>Welcome to the September edition of the Employment Hero Product Update. We have a whole bunch of new products to share with you and we couldn&#8217;t be more excited.</p>
<p>So, what&#8217;s new? We&#8217;ve added new updates to SmartMatch, introduced new workflows, improved assessments, introduced new custom security settings, a time clock app designed specifically for HR and much more. Everything is there and ready to use on the platform – let’s get started.</p>
<h2>You can now notify a person or team if they have incomplete reviews</h2>
<p><strong>Available on the following packages: </strong>More and Unlimited</p>
<p>Administrators now have the ability to schedule notifications for upcoming review deadlines. You can decide when to notify an individual or team when review end dates are approaching and set conditions to ensure that notifications are sent only to specific recipients, depending on whether the employee, manager, or both have fulfilled their part.</p>
<p><strong>Please note: </strong>This workflow applies to newly created reviews. However, if you want to implement it on existing reviews, you can go into edit mode and click Save.<em>.</em></p>
<h2>A simpler way to manage reviews with automated probation review workflow</h2>
<p><strong>Available on the following packages:</strong> More and Unlimited</p>
<p>The new scheduling feature in workflows allows admins to customize when employees are added to an assessment after their start date. Any review created in the Review Settings module can be selected in the Probation Review workflow, allowing administrators to automatically add employees to a review after a set number of days, weeks, months, or years .</p>
<p>Administrators can also determine which employees are added to a notice by setting conditions based on teams, locations, or job type.</p>
<h2>Access to a whole new suite of workflow templates</h2>

<p>We&#8217;ve added 11 new workflow templates to make it even easier to manage changes to employee records, expenses, leave, and onboarding. These templates come preconfigured for tasks like automatically approving certain leave or expense requests and notifying employees when their information is updated. They are designed to save you time and help you quickly set up workflows, showing how automation can simplify your daily tasks.</p>

<p>We&#8217;ve made workflows more flexible by allowing you to schedule actions when it&#8217;s most convenient for you. Now, instead of tasks or emails being triggered immediately, you can choose when they should arrive.</p>
<p>For example, you can schedule an email to introduce a new hire to their team a few days before they start, or set tasks for their first day, week, and month. If a scheduled action is set for a past date, it will automatically trigger immediately. All actions will be scheduled for midnight in your organization&#8217;s time zone.</p>
<h2>Hiring with SmartMatch just got easier with our updates</h2>

<h3>A whole new explanation section</h3>
<p>We&#8217;ve introduced a new explanation section in SmartMatch to help employers understand why certain candidates are recommended. Now users can see each candidate&#8217;s total SmartMatch score, as well as a breakdown of their performance in key areas: screening responses, experience, qualifications and skills.</p>

<p>We&#8217;ve updated the SmartMatch candidate workflow to allow candidates to record an introductory video, giving recruiters a deeper insight into their personality and skills.</p>
<p>When a SmartMatch candidate is shortlisted and asked if they are interested in a role, they can now record a short video introducing themselves, describing their experience and what they are looking for in a new role.</p>
<p>The video will appear in the candidate&#8217;s Swag Jobs profile under a new &#8220;Introduction Video&#8221; section, and in their ATS profile for any current or future applications. Candidates can re-record the video if necessary, and they can also add one directly through their Swag Jobs profile.</p>
<h3>An easier way to communicate with interested candidates</h3>
<p>We&#8217;ve made it easier for SmartMatch recruiters to connect with candidates who are truly interested in their position and their company.</p>
<p>Now, HR managers can trigger the SmartMatch process to automatically contact suitable candidates and identify those who are interested. These candidates are highlighted with the “Interested” tag for hiring managers, making it easy to contact them and share more about the position.</p>
<h2>We&#8217;ve made shift management much easier</h2>

<p>We&#8217;ve made some great updates to the roster to help you manage teams more easily. You can now view listings in 4-week and monthly time periods, and we&#8217;ve also improved the fortnightly view to make things clearer.</p>
<p>Additionally, you can sort lists by employee across all time periods, giving you more flexibility. Quick information on job changes and daily and weekly budget warnings are also available, making it easier to stay on top of everything.</p>

<h2>An easier way to sync work types for HR and Payroll connected clients</h2>

<p>We&#8217;ve automated the synchronization of payroll items (work types) for HR and Employment Hero Payroll connected clients. Previously, users had to manually trigger a payroll sync to HR, but now any changes made to work types in payroll will be automatically updated in HR.</p>
<p>This will apply if users create, update, delete, or restore work types. This update will significantly reduce errors and improve the overall user experience.</p>
<h2>Say hello to a new clock app designed specifically for HR</h2>

<p>We&#8217;ve introduced the Employment Hero Time Clock app, optimized for tablets, to help your team quickly and accurately track their time and onsite attendance.</p>
<p>Employees can now clock in and out of their shifts and breaks, using a personal access code at a public kiosk installed on any Apple or Android tablet. The application synchronizes directly with HR lists and automatically creates timesheets, making it easier for managers. Administrators can also manage time clock access via a new settings page in Payroll Settings.</p>

<p>Welcome to the August edition of the Employment Hero Product Update. We&#8217;re moving full steam ahead into the second half of the year, which means one thing: we&#8217;ve got a whole bunch of new products to share with you.</p>
<p>So, what&#8217;s new? We introduced the ability to automatically approve timesheets, a new Zapier integration, an easier way to upload tasks to the ATS, a new custom form feature, more SmartMatch improvements, and much more. Everything is there and ready to use on the platform – let’s get started.</p>
<h2>Automatically approve timesheets</h2>
<p><strong>Available for the following HR plans: Platinum </strong></p>
<p>We&#8217;ve just made managing timesheets a whole lot easier with our all-new auto-approval feature.</p>
<p>Customers will now see a toggle to enable or disable the auto-approval feature, by navigating to C.<strong>Company Settings > Job Settings > Timesheet Self-Approval</strong>.</p>
<p>When enabled, if start and end time timesheets that employees submit (daily or weekly) match their scheduled shift, they will be automatically approved, given that the following matches:</p>

<li aria-level="1">Shift start time</li>
<li aria-level="1">Shift end time</li>
<li aria-level="1">Cost center</li>
<li aria-level="1">Type of work</li>
<li aria-level="1">Number of breaks</li>

<h2>Custom Colors Now Available</h2>

<p>You can now replace the default purple with your brand colors, making it a unique product.</p>

<p>Previously, employee record edit workflow templates lacked essential dynamic fields, limiting your ability to include critical contextual information such as an employee&#8217;s primary manager or start date. We&#8217;ve now upgraded the workflow engine to support additional dynamic fields, allowing you to tailor it to your business needs and improve operational efficiency, user experience and scalability .</p>
<p>Additionally, we&#8217;ve introduced a series of UI/UX improvements, including updated workflow icons, new user-friendly components, and confirmation pop-ups to prevent accidental exits. These updates are designed to make your workflow smoother, easier to navigate, and more efficient.</p>

<p>Previously, only directors and owners could establish 1:1s on behalf of other employees.</p>
<p>Now, Admins and Owners can now grant access to employees to help them view, edit, or delete 1:1s, giving you more flexibility and support in managing your team.</p>

<h2>New Zapier integration</h2>
<p>We&#8217;ve launched a new integration with Zapier, allowing you to seamlessly transfer data from Employment Hero Payroll to apps in the Zapier app store. This low-code solution not only streamlines your workflows, but is also now the leading payroll provider on Zapier.</p>

<p>Everyone knows how time-consuming creating a job posting can be. That&#8217;s why we&#8217;ve further streamlined the process with a new job pre-creation mode.</p>
<p>Now when you select <strong>&#8220;Add a new job&#8221;</strong> Or &#8220;<strong>Create an internal role</strong>&#8220;you will have three options:</p>
<ul>
<li aria-level="1"><strong>Create from scratch: </strong>This option will launch the existing job creation flow, where the user will manually enter job details.</li>
<li aria-level="1"><strong>Create from a task:</strong> This option will start the job creation flow, but in the “<strong>Job Details</strong>&#8220;, the user will be able to select an existing job within their organization to automatically fill in the fields of the step &#8220;<strong>Job Details</strong>&#8221; step using input from the previous task. This is similar to the logic used when a user copies a task.</li>
<li aria-level="1"><strong>Create from employee: </strong>This option will start the job creation flow, but in the “<strong>Job Details</strong>&#8220;, the user can select an employee within their organization and the employee&#8217;s job details will be copied (excluding sensitive fields such as salary).</li>

<p>When you&#8217;re in the final stages of hiring, you may want to prevent new candidates from applying. This could be because you already have enough candidates or simply because you have already offered the position to a candidate and are waiting for their acceptance.</p>
<p>Previously, when you closed applicant acceptance, it closed all jobs within the ATS. This could make it difficult if you need to reopen the position to find more candidates or restart the process if a candidate fails.</p>
<p>Now, hiring managers can remove the posting from all job boards (including Swag Jobs and their careers pages) without closing the entire posting in the ATS. If the hiring manager wants to reopen the position to accept more applications, they can easily re-post it on these job sites.</p>

<p>We&#8217;ve introduced powerful custom form functionality, making it easy for admins to capture specific information from their team. With this update, you can create custom forms, send them to individuals, teams, or sites, and track responses, all from the dashboard.</p>
<p>Employees will receive email notifications when a form is active and can complete it directly from their To Do widget. Authors will also be informed once the form is completed, ensuring smooth and efficient communication.</p>

<p>We&#8217;ve expanded our task management capabilities by allowing tasks created via workflows to be sent to an external inbox, just like manually created tasks and onboarding/offboarding checklists.</p>
<p>This means you can be notified when a new employee is added to your team, when an employee has changed roles, or even when a candidate has signed their contract. This functionality also allows you to notify external people when a task is due, for example external IT service providers.</p>
<p>You can do this by adding the send email notification action in the Workflows feature.</p>

<h2>A new functionality to automate statutory shared parental remuneration (ShPP)</h2>
<p>We have introduced a new feature to automate Shared Parental Pay (ShPP), eliminating the manual work of tracking and processing Shared Parental Leave.</p>
<p>Now the system will automatically calculate, pay and report ShPP to HMRC, allowing you to manage these payments with ease and in full compliance with the legislation.</p>
<h2>We&#8217;re making our naming conventions more local</h2>
<p>We are updating our naming terminology to be localized to the UK.</p>
<p>Previously, Employment Hero used the terms “Leave” and “Rostering”. Now you will find them called “Congés” and “Rota”.</p>
<p>These terminology changes have been updated on the web platform, provided your language is set to &#8220;English (UK)&#8221; in Settings, and will be included in the next app update for Swag.</p>

<p>Welcome to the August edition of the Employment Hero Product Update. We&#8217;re moving full steam ahead into the second half of the year, which means one thing: we&#8217;ve got a whole bunch of new products to share with you.</p>
<p>So, what&#8217;s new? We introduced the ability to automatically approve timesheets, a new Zapier integration, an easier way to upload tasks to the ATS, a new custom form feature, more SmartMatch improvements, and much more. Everything is there and ready to use on the platform – let’s get started.</p>
<h2>Automatically approve timesheets</h2>
<p><strong>Available for the following HR plans: Platinum </strong></p>
<p>We&#8217;ve just made managing timesheets a whole lot easier with our all-new auto-approval feature.</p>
<p>Customers will now see a toggle to enable or disable the auto-approval feature, by navigating to C.<strong>Company Settings > Job Settings > Timesheet Self-Approval</strong>.</p>
<p>When enabled, if start and end time timesheets that employees submit (daily or weekly) match their scheduled shift, they will be automatically approved, given that the following matches:</p>
<ul>

<li aria-level="1">Shift start time</li>
<li aria-level="1">Shift end time</li>
<li aria-level="1">Cost center</li>
<li aria-level="1">Type of work</li>

<p>Previously, employee record edit workflow templates lacked essential dynamic fields, limiting your ability to include critical contextual information such as an employee&#8217;s primary manager or start date. We&#8217;ve now upgraded the workflow engine to support additional dynamic fields, allowing you to tailor it to your business needs and improve operational efficiency, user experience and scalability .</p>
<p>Additionally, we&#8217;ve introduced a series of UI/UX improvements, including updated workflow icons, new user-friendly components, and confirmation pop-ups to prevent accidental exits. These updates are designed to make your workflow smoother, easier to navigate, and more efficient.</p>

<p>Now, Admins and Owners can now grant access to employees to help them view, edit, or delete 1:1s, giving you more flexibility and support in managing your team.</p>

<p>Everyone knows how time-consuming creating a job posting can be. That&#8217;s why we&#8217;ve further streamlined the process with a new job pre-creation mode.</p>
<p>Now when you select <strong>&#8220;Add a new job&#8221;</strong> Or &#8220;<strong>Create an internal role</strong>&#8220;you will have three options:</p>
<ul>
<li aria-level="1"><strong>Create from scratch: </strong>This option will launch the existing job creation flow, where the user will manually enter job details.</li>
<li aria-level="1"><strong>Create from a task:</strong> This option will start the job creation flow, but in the “<strong>Job Details</strong>&#8220;, the user will be able to select an existing job within their organization to automatically fill in the fields of the step &#8220;<strong>Job Details</strong>&#8221; step using input from the previous task. This is similar to the logic used when a user copies a task.</li>
<li aria-level="1"><strong>Create from employee: </strong>This option will start the job creation flow, but in the “<strong>Job Details</strong>&#8220;, the user can select an employee within their organization and the employee&#8217;s job details will be copied (excluding sensitive fields such as salary).</li>

<p><strong>HR plans: Hiring Essentials, Standard, Premium, Platinum</strong></p>
<p>When you&#8217;re in the final stages of hiring, you may want to prevent new candidates from applying. This could be because you already have enough candidates or simply because you have already offered the position to a candidate and are waiting for their acceptance.</p>
<p>Previously, when you closed applicant acceptance, it closed all jobs within the ATS. This could make it difficult if you need to reopen the position to find more candidates or restart the process if a candidate fails.</p>
<p>Now, hiring managers can remove the posting from all job boards (including Swag Jobs and their careers pages) without closing the entire posting in the ATS. If the hiring manager wants to reopen the position to accept more applications, they can easily re-post it on these job sites.</p>

<p>We&#8217;ve introduced powerful custom form functionality, making it easy for admins to capture specific information from their team. With this update, you can create custom forms, send them to individuals, teams, or sites, and track responses, all from the dashboard.</p>
<p>Employees will receive email notifications when a form is active and can complete it directly from their To Do widget. Authors will also be informed once the form is completed, ensuring smooth and efficient communication.</p>

<p>We&#8217;ve expanded our task management capabilities by allowing tasks created via workflows to be sent to an external inbox, just like manually created tasks and onboarding/offboarding checklists.</p>
<p>This means you can be notified when a new employee is added to your team, when an employee has changed roles, or even when a candidate has signed their contract. This functionality also allows you to notify external people when a task is due, for example external IT service providers.</p>
<p>You can do this by adding the send email notification action in the Workflows feature.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s already April, which means one thing: we&#8217;re back with another edition of the Employment Hero product update.  We&#8217;re sharing all the product updates we&#8217;ve been working hard on this year.</p>
<p>Over the past month, we&#8217;ve introduced incident security reporting, allowed you to add custom branding to your job postings, created more flexibility in performance reviews, and much more.  Everything is there and ready to use on the platform – let’s get started!</p>
<h2>Say Hello to the New Security Incident Report</h2>
<p>We&#8217;ve made it easier to get an overview of all security incidents occurring in your business.  We now offer a new standalone security incident report that you can find in<strong> Reports > Compliance</strong>.  The intention is to make all information available in one place with just one click.</p>
<p>Previously, the only way to create a security incident report was to create custom reports or upload a CSV file through My Incidents to get a complete snapshot of each individual incident.</p>
<p>The columns have been reorganized to prioritize the most valuable information for reporting purposes.  You will now be able to filter by:</p>
<ul>
<li aria-level="1">Relevant staff (within your organization)</li>
<li aria-level="1">Team</li>
<li aria-level="1">Location of personnel concerned</li>
</ul>
<p>You will also be able to download the security incident report in CSV format.</p>

<h2>Set up different evaluation schedules for managers and employees in performance reviews</h2>
<p>We know that every company has a different way of handling performance reviews, so we&#8217;ve improved this key feature by allowing you to configure different review deadlines.</p>
<p>When creating or updating a performance review period, admins now have the ability to separate the employee&#8217;s self-evaluation and the timing of the manager&#8217;s evaluation, with fields separate end date and lock date.</p>
<p>What might this look like in action?  You can set different due dates for employees and managers so that employees must complete the digital performance review before managers.</p>
<p>You can access this by navigating to the Performance > Performance Reviews > Manage Review Settings module.</p>

<p>You asked, we listened – and we&#8217;re excited to announce that expense report approval notifications are now sent to the manager&#8217;s work email address instead of the personal account email address of the manager.</p>

<h2>You can now preview job offers before publishing them on SEEK, JobStreet and JobsDB.</h2>
<p>Are you posting a new job offer on SEEK, JobStreet or JobsDB?  Now you can post with confidence by previewing the job before it goes live.  This means you can review the post and correct any errors before clicking publish.</p>
<p>You can preview your job offer by clicking on the “Preview your job offer” button.  The preview page includes a display of the ad and how it appears in search results on mobile and desktop devices.</p>

<h2>Add your own brand assets in the Recruitment module</h2>
<p>When posting to SEEK, JobStreet and JobsDB, you can now choose between all branded assets stored in your account from the recruiting module.</p>
<p>This feature can help your job posting stand out, as job seekers can quickly identify your logo and branding.  Previously, users could only select their brand option from a drop-down menu.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A big return in the July edition of the Employment Hero product update.  We&#8217;re moving full steam ahead into the second half of the year, which means one thing: we&#8217;ve got a whole bunch of new products to share with you.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">So what&#8217;s up?  We introduced shareable SmartMatch candidates, added the option for duration-based evaluation periods, template creation for 360-degree evaluations, new roster updates, personalized email notifications, and even more.  Everything is there and ready to use on the platform – let’s get started.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">A new suite of SmartMatch updates</span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Over the past few months, we&#8217;ve been working hard to develop our SmartMatch AI tool to make recruiting easier than ever.  This month we released a whole new set of updates</span></p>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can now share SmartMatch candidate profiles</span></h3>
<p><b>Available for the following HR plans: Standard, Premium, Platinum </b><b><br /></b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Have you discovered a great SmartMatch candidate?  You can now share them with your colleagues involved in the recruitment process, allowing you to act more quickly to find the right candidate.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">To share a candidate&#8217;s profile in SmartMatch, simply use the &#8220;Share Candidate Profile&#8221; option so you can send it to other members of your team who need to be informed about hiring decisions.  The user you choose to share the profile with will receive an email with a link to view the candidate&#8217;s profile in their account under &#8220;Registered Candidates.&#8221;  A banner will also appear on the candidate&#8217;s profile indicating that the candidate has been shared with them.</span></p>

<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">Interested SmartMatch candidates can now provide answers to screening questions and submit a personal presentation.</span></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When you create a new job in the Recruitment module, SmartMatch instantly begins searching for high-quality candidates who are genuinely interested in your role and your company.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The most qualified candidates will receive a notification that SmartMatch believes they are the best candidate for this position.  These candidates can then view the job description and, if it matches, express their interest in the position. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">With these latest versions, candidates can go even further by providing answers to any screening questions you&#8217;ve added to the position and writing a personal introduction explaining their interest in your role and your company.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Staying on top of review periods can be difficult when managing a team, which is why we&#8217;ve introduced a way to lock review dates.  Whether performance reviews or probationary reviews, you can now set a fixed duration (e.g. 3-month performance review, 1-year performance review, etc.), at place of fixed start and end dates. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This allows the evaluation period to start automatically for each employee and manager upon assignment, streamlining the management of trial periods alongside regular performance reviews.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">Filter employee rehire eligibility</span></h2>
<p><b>Available for the following HR plans: Standard, Premium, Platinum </b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Do you have employees who have recently left your company, but might consider returning in the future?  This one is for you.  We&#8217;ve now added a filter to make your rehire process a little easier: you can now see the rehire eligibility of offshored employees. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">With this information, you can easily track and review former employees who could be rehired.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">    in your employee list.  Additionally, you can also include this filter in termination reports. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When the time comes to leave an employee, you are now asked: “</span><b><i>Would you consider rehiring this staff?</i></b><span style="font-weight: 400;">» If you check “Yes”, you can easily reintegrate them on board in the future. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This filter is a game changer for companies that rely on a seasonal workforce or have interns or contractors who want to work for the company later. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In Employment Hero, 360° reviews are designed to give employees a more complete view of their professional development, allowing for feedback from people outside of their direct management.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We&#8217;ve made some key updates to roster management.  We introduced a brand new feature, roles, and the ability to print a list. </span></p>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">Overview of roles </span></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our brand new Roles feature allows you to create a roster group, such as front of house staff, which you can then assign to your employees in roster management when entering their shift details.  You can also use this feature to edit role details if they change and delete a record if it is no longer needed.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Roles will be included in email notifications and Swag Teams.  You can also assign custom colors to quickly identify them on your registration calendar.  </span></p>

<h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">Personalized email notifications for time off and expenses</span></h2>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Being busy at work means that sometimes important notifications often go unread.  To reduce this risk, you can now set up custom email notifications for time off and expenses.  This update means that notifications will be sent directly to your inbox when an employee requests them.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Email notifications are built from workflows based on specific conditions that must be met.  You can also choose what information you want to include in the email notification to best meet your organization&#8217;s needs. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This feature allows you to create an internal job posting, specify role details, add screening questions, hiring managers, and more.  You can also comment on a candidate&#8217;s progress, which means you can keep your hiring notes all in one place.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Have you changed your mind?  You can easily change an internal role to an external role under the role&#8217;s &#8220;Announcements&#8221; tab. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hiring can take time, so we make it easier for you to view the most important information about a candidate. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When viewing a candidate profile, you will now see a purple “Highlights” section showing a summary of the candidate&#8217;s experience and key profile highlights.  This allows you to have a quick overview of the candidates&#8217; background and skills. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you want to know more about the candidate, you can scroll down to see their full profile.  This includes their work experience, qualifications and skills.</span></p>
